Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is encouraging Indiana residents to participate in National Unclaimed Property Day on February 1 by checking if they have unclaimed financial assets. Hoosiers can search for potential unclaimed property at IndianaUnclaimed.gov or by texting CLAIM to 46220.
“Our team reunited Hoosiers with more money in 2023 and 2024 than ever before, and the process to claim what is rightfully yours has never been easier,” Attorney General Rokita said. “In honor of National Unclaimed Property Day go to indianaunclaimed.gov and search for your name, your loved ones, or your business.”
Unclaimed property refers to financial assets that have had no activity from their owner for a long period. The public is advised to regularly check their status on the official website or use the provided text service. Residents may also contact the Unclaimed Property Division at 1-866-462-5246 or via email.
