Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has issued a consumer alert regarding 44 product recalls announced in February. The alert urges Indiana residents to be aware of recalled items that may pose risks to their families and encourages them to seek remedies from manufacturers.
“Hoosiers that are buying gifts for loved ones deserve protection from products that are faulty,” Attorney General Rokita said. “If you have one of the recalled products, stop using it immediately and pursue resolution from the manufacturer.”
The Consumer Product Safety Commission listed several consumer products recalled last month. Consumers who believe they have purchased any of these items are advised to stop using them, check the relevant recall notice, and follow instructions on how to return, repair, dispose of, or replace the product.
Further information about previous recalls can be found on the Consumer Protection Safety Commission website at https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls.
