Undrea House, a 29-year-old resident of Elkhart, Indiana, has been sentenced to 85 months in federal prison following her guilty plea to charges of bank robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. The sentencing was handed down by United States District Court Judge Cristal C. Brisco.

Acting United States Attorney M. Scott Proctor announced the sentence, which also includes three years of supervised release after House completes her prison term.

Court documents state that in August 2024, House entered a bank and pointed a loaded handgun at an employee while demanding money. She left the scene with more than $1,000 in cash and returned to her apartment. Police located and arrested her later that same day.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation led the investigation into the case, with support from the Goshen Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Joel Gabrielse prosecuted the case.
