Federal court in Indiana announces Black History Month event with virtual option

The United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana will hold its 27th annual Black History Month event on Friday, February 20, 2026. The program, titled “An Enduring Vision: 100 Years of Black History in the Southern District of Indiana, and Beyond,” is scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM in courtroom 202 at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Courthouse.

A virtual attendance option will be available for individuals unable to participate in person. According to organizers, one hour of Continuing Legal Education credit is pending approval for attendees.
