Indiana attorney general encourages Hoosiers to check for unclaimed property on Valentine’s Day

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is encouraging residents to check for unclaimed property this Valentine’s Day. In a statement, Rokita suggested that people consider visiting IndianaUnclaimed.gov as part of their holiday plans.

“Roses, chocolates, and jewelry are staple gifts on this holiday of love,” Attorney General Rokita said. “Check out IndianaUnclaimed.gov to see if you have a little extra money to splurge on your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day.”

The office highlights that various types of property may go unclaimed, which could provide an unexpected financial boost for individuals or families. Residents can search for their names, family members, or businesses on the Indiana Unclaimed website or by texting CLAIM to 46220.
