Eli Martinez-Martinez, a 39-year-old Mexican national, has been sentenced in federal court after pleading guilty to felony reentry of a removed alien. The sentencing was announced by United States Attorney Adam L. Mildred.

United States District Court Judge Philip P. Simon ordered that Martinez-Martinez receive a sentence of time served, reflecting the period he has already spent in detention since his arrest on September 5, 2025.

Court records indicate that Martinez-Martinez had previously been removed from the United States twice, once in 2011 and again in 2022.

The investigation into this case was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations. Assistant United States Attorney Kevin F. Wolff prosecuted the case.
